Bright lights! Big sound! Good Vibes! It is that time of year again. Festival season is upon us, and Backwoods Music Festival is the place to be. 2015  was an experience to remember, and 2016 will be bigger and better. There have been some major improvements to the festival this year, to make the experience even better. We are going to give you our top 10 Backwoods Music Festival 2016 improvements.

Top 10 Backwoods Music Festival 2016 Improvements:

1. Giant Slip N Slide – It’s pretty self explanatory. It’s a bigger than your average slip n slide.
2. More Shade – We all know how hot it was last year at the Tatanka Ranch. This year there will be more areas to rest out of the sun.
3. Giant Hay Maze – This is going to be a new activity for the festival made from truck loads of hay.
4. Bigger Beach – With the festival’s growing attendance, it was only fair to make sure everyone gets their share of sandy beach goodness.
5. Tropical Island Stage – Nothing screams new addition like adding a brand new stage. This stage will be located on the lake itself.
6. Improved Tree House – Staying on the topic of stages, a crowd favorite, the Meadow is seeing a couple new features this year. First off, there will be a 3rd level added to the stage. Next there will be a new tower. And finally more video features for better visuals.
7. New Motherland Stage – A castle theme, with all the set extras anyone could ask for, last year’s Motherland stage was undoubtedly a work of art. This year, they’re working on a completely new design, but details have not yet been released as of this posting.
8. MORE WATER – Always make sure to stay hydrated during extreme temperatures. There are no doubters to attest the fact that it was HOT out on the grounds last year. This year there will be more water stations offering more FREE water.
9. More Vendors – According to Backwoods Music Festival’s official website, Shakedown Street will be doubling in size, thus making it possible for more vendors.
10. New Security Team – It goes without saying that attendee safety is a huge priority, and to ensure the safety of festival goers, artists, vendors, and staff, a new security company will be in place for the 2016 festivities.
