Alright, it is the middle of April and that means Prom season is just about over! But what the Heck is up with all the promposals!?!

Now wait, I understand when some lame dude goes out of the box to ask some fine girl out on a date.  They need to do something that will capture there attention and give them some hope of getting a favorable answer.  But this crap is out of control!  Now every girl is expecting some guy to go over the top to ask her to prom.

What are you doing people!  There will be nowhere to go when actual marriage proposals come around.  The worst part is every time this atrocity happens, the next girl expects her date to top it.

By the way, you young punks are destroying the “Man Code”.  The more you do this, the worst it’s going to be for the rest of us!

The Back Lash

Here is the other thing.  What happens when a person puts themselves out there, in front of the WHOLE school and he/she says NO!?!  This is a potential school shooting waiting to happen, if it hasn’t already.  People are unstable and to get embarrassed like that can push people over the edge.

By the way, the rest of the world is laughing at us with the whole “Americans be like” memes.  Now, I know you may be tempted to try this;  Don’t!  Guys, if you have to jump through all those hoops to go to prom, there is no happy future with her.  Ladies, PLEASE do not put yourself through this, he should pursue you anyway!  But, I know it’s a different time so asking a guy out to prom is not out of bounds.

So if you feel the urge to tan the question in you back, or deface an innocent horse, maybe even paint it on the side of a large building… DON’T, and I mean DON’T!
