You may know them from the Madea movies as The Browns; Monday, at Riverfest, David and Tamala Mann were live in person and Tamala set the stage on fire with her electric voice!

Right before they come to the stage, there were plenty of cameras and sound people roaming around. We were interested and found out that Riverfest was the first on many filming for a reality TV Show that will be on BET later this year. So if you were at the concert, there is a chance that you may be on camera. Yeah, we know that you probably thought you would be in a music video but hey, get it how you can get it! Tamala sung many of her own songs and a few others that many in the gospel community know and love. But it was, “Take Me to the KING” that the entire crowd was waiting to hear and she did not disappoint. After her performance, she signed some autographs and took some pictures.

After one more quick filming for there show, she took some time with three of the TEENVIEW Magazine crew. She shared that kids should follow their dreams and work the gift that God has placed inside them. She shared that her goal was never to be famous but it was to do what God has created her to do. In that, her gift made room for her, just as the Bible says it will.

Very humble and gracious, the Manns posed for a picture and went to get the rest that they so needed after pouring themselves into our lives. It was an AWSOME event!
