A huge showdown is going down at Charles Koch Arena this Saturday. It’s our Wichita State Shockers versus the Northern Iowa Panthers. This could very well be a deciding game in who takes the MVC crown this year.

In their last game, Northern Iowa beat WSU 70-54. Since that loss, the Shockers have not lost a game.

Hopefully for the Shockers star shooting guard Ron Baker, who leads the team in PPG at 15.2, will have a big game.

This will be one of the biggest games in MVC regular season history, so expect a packed crowd in Charles Koch Arena.

My prediction for the game is: Wichita State 67 – 60 Northern Iowa. Yep, that’s right, I’m choosing the hometown team to bring the victory!
