O.J. Simpson, a Heisman trophy winning running back at USC and #1 overall draft pick by the Buffalo Bills back in the 1969 NFL Draft, also a Monday Night Football commentator, and a small-time actor, has officially been scheduled to be released from his current home, the Lovelock Correctional Center, in October for his armed robbery and kidnapping of his prized football career memorabilia back in 2007. The Juice is loose.
O.J. will return to Lovelock Correctional Center until October 1st at the earliest, although if O.J. is to violate any prison rules or break any kind of parole regulations he will be under very serious punishment and possibly will have his parole revoked. While there is very little evidence to say that he would do anything like that the opportunity is still open. Although, this is not the crime he is most well known, but it is the crime he was convicted of. Simpson served almost nine years in the correctional center; the minimum time that needed to be served for his case was nine years in confinement.
His parole judging was unanimous among all four parole judges. Juice had made a very good case for parole as he had behaved exceptionally well while in confinement never raising one alarm, getting at all violent, or getting involved in any questionable activity. If you were to watch the video, or live stream for those who knew of this event, you wouldn’t really think that OJ was on trial to be released from prison he had a large smile on his face talking and bantering with his attorney and other people in the parole room. O.J. made a lot of interesting comments and points of emphasis, especially the one where he made his full apology:
“I’m sorry it happened, I’m sorry, Nevada, I thought I was glad to get my stuff back, but it just wasn’t worth it. It wasn’t worth it, and I’m sorry.”
The Juice is loose as of October 1st, so lets hope he has learned from his previous mistakes.
