Hollywood has gone through many movie trends over the years. The most recent is the rebirth of superheroes. In 2019 the movie trend will be live action movies.

The most recent Hollywood trend is the rebirth of the superhero. In this trend, superheroes were not only remade they were also expanded upon.

Fan favorites like Wolverine and Spiderman were given deeper looks inside who they were and their origins. On top of this, some heroes were given their first shot on the big screen. Characters like Deadpool and Black Panther were only seen by comic book readers in the past, but now they can be enjoyed by more people.

The Movie Trend in 2019

In 2019 the trend will be live action films. Live actions films are just movies made with real character and things  (not computer generated ). In Movies today the characters are usually CGI and are made to look as tangible as the settings they are placed in.  This is a mix of live action and animation. The very first live-action film was “the lost world” (1925). Majority of the characters were made out of clay and were moved using stop motion.

As years progress and technology improve we get to a weird spot where it is hard to see the difference between animation and real life. Movies like the  Transformers series are good examples of how well animation and reality can blend.

Live action and animation combo movies are already beginning to pop up. Mowgli was a Netflix original adaptation of the jungle book. It premiered late in 2018.
