The first round of the NFL Draft will be underway on April 30th. I’d like to give everyone here a look into how I think things will go down. If you have anything to say about the NFL Draft comment below or  tweet us @teenviewmag. Here’s the first ever TeenView NFL Mock Draft.

Analysis

1

Jameis Winston

QB

Florida State

Picking between Winston and Mariota seemed like a hard choice at the beginning of the offseason, but now the Bucs are almost a lock to pick the former Florida State Seminole.

2

Leonard Williams

DE

USC

I believe that Williams is the best player in this draft class, but who knows, the Titans have also been interested in QB Marcus Mariota.

3

Dante Fowler Jr.

OLB/DE

Florida

Dante Fowler has been working his way up draft boards since his combine performance. After watching much of his tape, I can see why. He could be a game changer for the Jaguars.

4

Kevin White

WR

West Virginia

This pick is one of the most difficult ones in this year’s draft. Amari Cooper of Kevin White? I had to give the nod to Kevin White because of his explosiveness.

5

Randy Gregory

OLB/DE

Nebraska

Randy Gregory has slipped a little since the combine. He and Dante Fowler are both good linebackers, but I’d say Gregory will be a better fit for the Redskins.

6

Vic Beasley

OLB/DE

Clemson

Adding Vic Beasley to what seems like is going to be a good Jets defense will really help this team out. I was tempted to say Marcus Mariota here, but I think the Jets will give Geno Smith one more shot.

7

Shane Ray

DE

Missouri

After Shane Ray’s combine, he was looked down upon by scouts. What people don’t realize is that he is still a crazy talented defensive end. This would be a very good pickup for the Bears.

8

Malcolm Brown

DT

Texas

For the Falcons, this is a great pickup. They’re getting the best defensive tackle in this draft class, and they don’t have to trade up for him.

9

Todd Gurley

RB

Georgia

Even though the Giants have Rashad Jennings, the Giants can’t pass up a prospect like Todd Gurley. Maybe Gurley could help the Giants make a playoff push for 2015.

10

Amari Cooper

WR

Alabama

Drafting arguably the best wide receiver in the whole draft at pick number 10 is definitely a good move for the Rams. Helping Nick Foles out is key for this team.

11

Devante Parker

WR

Lousiville

Reuniting Parker with QB Teddy Bridgewater might just spark something great in Minnesota.

12

Marcus Mariota

QB

Oregon

I know what you’re thinking. What about Johnny Football? Well, he’s not an NFL caliber QB, and it seems like Mariota is. Sorry “Money Manziel” it seems like your time might be up.

13

Landon Collins

SS

Alabama

Adding this hard-hitting safety to their secondary will give them some much needed depth.

14

Bud Dupree

OLB

Kentucky

As a disruptive force on the defensive line, Bud Dupree should fit in well with the Dolphins defense. His only questionable trait is his coverage ability.

15

Brandon Scherff

OT

Iowa

Although it’s debated as to whether Scherff or La’el Collins is the best lineman in this years draft, I have to think the 49ers would go with Scherff, because he could come in right away and replace almost any position on their offensive line.

16

Danny Shelton

DT

Washington

Adding Danny Shelton to an already impressive Texans pass rush will greatly improve their playoff chances.

17

Melvin Gordon

RB

Wisconsin

After Ryan Matthews departure, picking up Melvin Gordon in the draft will be a huge help to Philip Rivers

18

La’el Collins

OT

LSU

With Jeremy Maclin in town, the Chiefs need to address protecting Alex Smith. Collins can help with that.

19

Arik Armstead

DT

Oregon

With their second pick in the first round, the Browns select another Oregon Duck. This time it’s to help out on defense.

20

Trae Waynes

CB

Michigan St.

In a division where you play two top-ten wide receivers (Dez Bryant and Odell Beckham Jr.) twice a year, you’re going to want a shutdown corner. Waynes might just become that in the NFL.

21

Arik Armstead

DT

Oregon

After playing football and basketball for the Ducks, Armstead’s best football should be ahead of him.

22

Jalen Collins

CB

LSU

Cornerback is a screaming need for the Steelers, especially because they’re in a division with A.J. Green. Collins might just be the answer for Pittsburgh

23

D.J. Humphries

Florida

OT

To make the playoffs again this year, the Lions will need to keep QB Matthew Stafford protected. This pick will do that.

24

Marcus Peters

CB

Washington

Adding a final piece to what’s already a amazing secondary could be the factor in deciding the Cardinals playoff fate.

25

Andrus Peat

OT

Stanford

Jordan Gross has held down the LT position for a while now, but Peat seems like a strong replacement.

26

Eli Harold

OLB

Virginia

With a little bit of training from a team, Harold could turn in to a premier linebacker. He reminds me of a Von Miller like prospect, with his speed and athleticism.

27

Eddie Goldman

DT

Florida State

After doing a great job of fortifying their offensive line the past few years, it’s time for the Cowboys to work on defense. Taking Eddie Goldman to help out Greg Hardy on the defensive line is a step in a good direction. Dallas might also look at a cornerback here.

28

T.J. Clemmings

OT

Pittsburgh

Right now Clemmings can play any position on the o-line, so the Broncos can just fit him in where they need him.

29

Jaelen Strong

WR

Arizona State

The Colts need to replace Reggie Wayne, and Jaelen Strong is just the man for the job.

30

Kevin Johnson

CB

Wake Forest

Adding to their secondary for their second draft in a row, the Packers look to make a Super Bowl push. If Johnson proves to be anything like their pick last year,  Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, they’ll be very happy.

31

Cameron Erving

OL

Florida State

What’s too bad for the Saints is that there’s no tight end good enough for them to take here. Improving their offensive line with their second pick of the first round is a step in the right direction, though.

32

Breshad Perriman

WR

UCF

Perriman is a raw talent who I think, with the right coaching staff in place, could be the next big-time receiver in the NFL. With one of the best QB’s in league history at the helm of this team, he very well could be.
