Clothes… what we all have to wear to be accepted in today’s society. Most places won’t serve you without them. Yes, there are places where wearing less clothing is acceptable. In the case of a swimming pool, beach or at home, but most of the time, we have to wear some form of clothing. So, we decide what we want to wear. We look in magazines, at the media, or just simply, browse stores and buy what fits us… or in some people’s case. don’t fit us… but, we buy clothes.

Everyone has their own style. Guys, typically, go for jeans and a tee-shirt, depending on where they’re going. they might wear something to fit the mood or event. Guy clothing is pretty basic, unless you are one of those guys that do have to be dressed from head-to-toe in whatever is “hot” right now (Don’t even get me started on jogger pants!). We pretty much have it down.

Females. on the other hand, it seems like a whole different ball game. I don’t know the “ins and outs” to what goes on when a female is getting ready for the day, but I’m just going to go out on a limb and say for some females it takes longer than others. That’s a good thing, trust me, I love a female that knows how to dress, but also when a female has a “lazy day.” I enjoy that just as much.

Now this brings me to my main point at hand, the reason why I’m even writing this blog is to get input, to start conversation, to get answers! I want to ask what is the deal with leggings?!? Okay, before you start responding to me on Twitter (@threefingers316), let me state, I understand they are easy, comfortable, free and all that, but to be a part of your daily attire, seems a bit much. Now, don’t get me wrong, leggings are amazing on females; well. certain ones…., but for the most part, they are nice to a female wearing them. With that said, that brings me to my second point.

LEGGINGS ARE THE DEVIL’S WORK! Like I have already said, it’s no surprise that I love females; it’s just in my blood to be attracted to the opposite sex, but when some females wear their leggings, it almost feels like they are asking for attention. Let’s be real for a second, leggings are TIGHT (and no I don’t mean in the slang form). I have never seen a loose pair of leggings on a female. For the most part, they feel them up, and that’s the point, leggings show off pretty much everything you have to hide. That can work as a double-edge sword, in most cases. The wrong female wearing the wrong pair of leggings. you’re doing yourself more harm than good because chances are someone is talking about you. In the same scenario, that right female with all the right “assets,” give them a pair of leggings, and you’re going to be talked about as well. Mostly because there are a flock of guys eyeing your said “assets” in return.

I’m not that much of a religious man myself, but I do believe that’s called lust, and that’s a sin. Now, I’m not here to preach what is right and what is wrong, but anything that forces anyone to sin has to be the Devil’s work. When SOME females wear leggings, it forces SOME guys to look, stare, comment, joke, laugh or just sin.  Now, I know some females are not doing it on purpose; some of you really pull them off respectfully, and that’s good. It has become a common norm to wear leggings with a formal dress or even a skirt, and that’s fine. This blog is for the females that wear them because they WANT to show off what you have been blessed with. Some females wear them because they WANT the attention.

All-in-all, leggings are a nice pair of clothes that are probably going to be around forever, and I’m fine with that.  What I’m not cool with is the guys that take advantage of that and decide to make inappropriate comments to females based on what they are wearing; that’s not cool! My advice to females, switch up your style every once in a while. Don’t make leggings “an everyday thing” to wear. Hopefully, the inappropriate comments will stop. To the guys that enjoy females in leggings. keep your comments to yourself. If she looks nice in them. find a better way to compliment her, without saying, “nice butt.”

Leggings are cool, and they’re fashionable right now, I’ve even seen guys wear them, (not going to touch that subject). I just feel we are getting to that point in society where our clothes are getting tighter, smaller and crazier, but I’ll just save that rant for another day…
