Cleveland Cavaliers’ LeBron James is the cover athlete of the 20th Anniversary Edition of the NBA 2K franchise.

THE KING HAS RETURNED. 

 

The last time LeBron graced the cover of a 2K game was in NBA 2K14 as a member of the Miami Heat. This years game marks the special 20th Anniversary of the game. Those who decide to pick up the Anniversary Edition will get many extras for the game, including extra VC for in-game purchases, a special LeBron James MyTEAM card, 25 pairs of Nike Shoes for your in game player and LeBron MyCOURT customizations.

Some of the physical items included with the 20th Anniversary Edition includes a LeBron NBA 2K19 poster, stickers and wristband that were custom designed with chosen words from LeBron himself.

NBA 2K19 will release September 11, and the special 20th Anniversary Edition some a a few days earlier on September 7. Both editions of the game comes to PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.

Players who play on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One can download NBA 2K19: The Prelude August 31 to get a jump on their MyCareer modes.
