J. Cole has been on fire recently. Here’s why.

After Wu Tang Clan, Beastie Boys, LL Cool J, and Vanilla Ice, J.Cole is the first rapper in over twenty-five whole years to have went platinum with no features. Let alone that, he did it twice! Now that’s just showing off.

From racism to depression, J. Cole never holds back from speaking what’s on everyone’s minds. A lot of times he gets into controversial topics that are rarely explored in music. J.Cole attracts such a varied crowd because he speaks on things that so many people can relate too, because the thing we all have in common is that we are all dealing with something every now and again.

The rapper first started getting noticed in 2009 and has been in the lime light ever since. So many artists’ careers explode in their prime time, but end up fizzling out and losing touch. However, J. Cole has been one of the most popular artists in pop culture for eight years and is only getting better.

J. Cole’s net worth is $15 million. In the year 2015, he made $11 million, and he’s known all over the world for his rapping career. And yet, J. Cole never lets the fame get the best of him. It’s never a surprise to hear about his childhood, his family back home, or his humble outlook on life. It shows a lot about a persons character when, even in the midst of all the fame, they never fail to be thankful for what he has.
