Sunshine children’s home is a project of SCARF (children’s advocacy and rights foundation). The foundation broke ground on the 1.5 million home in January 2014. The home is 11,400 square feet, has 8 bedrooms, there are 1 to 2 beds in each room, as well as a beautiful nursery. The home can accommodate up to 15 children. The children will begin arriving as early as October 27, 2014. The children’s home serves Butler, Elk, Greenwood Counties. The children coming into the home are faced with hardship, grievous enough to warrant their removal from the home. They are best served by caring professionals in their communities. Read More
