Animal Testing

Animal Testing: the use of non-human animals in experiments.  Across America, millions of bunnies, cats, dogs, monkey’s and other mammals are used in labs for studies that benefit humans.  These animals face terror and cause extreme stress and can lead to constantly spinning in circles, rocking back and forth, pulling out their own fur, and even biting themselves.  After all of this torture, all of these animals will be killed. We will discuss the horrors of Animal Testing.

Animals in this system endure chemical testing, drug testing, cosmetic testing, medical training exercises at universities. The people who work for these labs force rats and mice to inhale toxic fumes and make dogs eat pesticides.  According to https://www.humanesociety.org/all-our-fights/ending-cosmetics-animal-testing, 500,000 animals die every year due to cosmetic testing! What if I told you that your favorite lipgloss or favorite shampoo caused an innocent puppy to die? That is how serious this problem is! These animals cannot fight back. They are usually born into this and can’t escape.

There are many countries who have banned animal testing like The European Union, Norway, India, Israel and many more. If you want to help there are websites you can donate to and help their cause but also research more about this topic.
